Fletcher Sharpe is one of the most exciting young talents in Australian rugby league, earning recognition for his speed, footwork and natural finishing ability. Coming through the Cessnock Goannas junior system before progressing into the Newcastle Knights pathways, Fletcher quickly established himself as a standout performer in SG Ball and Jersey Flegg, collecting multiple Players’ Player awards along the way.
He’s now firmly embedded in the Knights’ NRL first grade squad, built on work rate, consistency and real game-breaking impact.
He made his NRL debut for the Newcastle Knights in 2024, announcing himself with a try on debut and finishing the season as one of the club’s most promising outside backs. His energy, consistency and professionalism on and off the field earned him a long-term extension with the Knights, securing his place as a key part of the club’s future.
