Field Trip No. 02: Mulgumpin
Following our first Field Trip to Fiordland, New Zealand, we headed a little closer to home for Field Trip No. 02.
This time, the destination was Mulgumpin (Moreton Island). Three days of four-wheel driving, camping, surfing, fishing, cooking and getting amongst it with the Calvert Field Team along for the ride.
The trip brought together some familiar faces from the Calvert crew, including Sean Riley, Zak Condon, Martin Johnson, Nick Pearce, Eamon Waddington, Kyle Graham and Morgan Evans. Craig Parry joined us behind the camera, capturing the people, places and everything in between.
Three days on the island gave us the perfect place to put Collection Three through its paces.
Long days outside. Early starts. Four-wheel drives through the sand. Fishing off the beach. Surfing when the conditions came good. Cooking around the fire and settling in for the night.
Collection Three is our biggest warm-weather collection yet, and the first time Calvert Supply has moved with the seasons.
New boardshorts, cord and cargo shorts, long cord pants, six new tees, fresh Whiskey Work Pant colourways and six new hats.
But before any of it made its way online, it came with us to Mulgumpin.
Salt water. Sand. Dust. Campfires. Road trips. Good mates and the kind of days that make good stories.
